ford hemi heads

Has anybody ever put the 4.9 bore space rd heads on a iron block?

With those piston speeds, the 5.5 is almost 25% more speed. There is also crank flex to take into account with the minimal journal overlap too.

Oh yeah, lots of 640 RD hemis out there with cast iron blocks. 650 fits alittle better in a 11.2 block.
You just need to get the powers that be, to make up some cast iron 11.2 blocks.

They will with the proper valve and port sizing.

This guy had BES build him a 660" Hemi for a 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang. I don't know what the block is but you might try contacting him. Very nice motor and car.

Not sure how accurate them #'s are but pretty impressive for a 660 single carb..

I would say that coming from BES they are pretty accurate. He's a pretty bad dude.
