Into the 7s in full street trim!
Well, we've done it! Our first 7 second pass in full street trim! 7.97 @173mph
Our new all aluminum 598 is awesome!
On the first outing we ran 8.95 without nitrous on it's first "proper" full pass. we then ran 8.52 with 160hp of nitrous.
On our secon outing (last weekend) we started by doing a bit of n/a tuning- we inproved to 8.66 in 3 passes. we then turned the bottles on and ran 8.16 with a 300 shot and 7.97 with 400!
There is plenty more to come as we are looking to go to 500hp for the next meeting (our last one this year) and 600+ next season.
The 7.97 was achieved with only 10 passes on the motor and only 5 of those on the bottle............
The car:
'Glass 1934 ford 3 window coupe with full tube cds (sfi 25.4) frame
C&C 11.2 deck aluminum block, Home ported A460 heads, A460 tunnel ram with 2 x 1050s, Custom nitrous solid roller, bryant billet crank,
BME426 rods, Ross pistons, Neal Chance converter, 'Glide , 3.25 gears and M/T ET Street radials.
