Vac motor build

Well as I now have dyno results I am going to put this up. Here is a list of the components and the dyno page.
D9TE block bored to 4.42 decked to 0.
Heads are ported DOVE castings ported by ThndrChkn Doug Roope. Flow about 330 intake and 190 exhaust. Ported as per Mad Porters site.
Weiand Stealth intake with a Dommie top fabbed by Steve Vardion. 1150 on top.
Crank is a SCAT forged 4.5 stroke.
Rods are Eagle H-beams.
Pistons are Diamond Custom flat tops with -5cc for the valve notches.
Total Seal rings.
+/- about 13.5:1 comp
Entire rotating assembly from Lem @ BF Evans Ford, plus a lot of good advice and many little items.
Camshaft is a custom solid roller from Shannon's Engineering. 240 @ .050 lift and .750 lift.
Extreme solid roller lifters. (I am giving these a try as they are fairly new and I wanted to try something new for the info)
Crane Energizer roller rockers. Jomar girdle.
Duraspark dizzie.
It made 560 hp @ 5500 and 670 tq @ 3800.
Pulled 18" of vac @ 1000.

Kim did a little math and said that corrected for sea level, it was closer to 625hp. Bret said that he has a very stingy dyno and is usually 50-100hp lower than most dyno's. All I know is that it is one bad dude when you hit the loud pedal. I had no problems turning the cut boggers up in Sturgis and most guys say you need over 750hp to make them work. I did a little calculating and figured I was turning the tires over 100mph in that pit. I came out the big end bouncing off of the rev limiter at 6200 in the high hole, low lock with a 205 T/C. The rears were 35" cut boggers with a 3.50 rear gear. If you have never run a set of cuts, they are bad ass.

I havent, have thought about a set of 40" ground hawgs though

I'd stick with the Boggers, they are a better tire.

How does it sound at idle? Very erratic or is it pretty smooth. Do you have any video of the dyno pulls, I'd love to hear it. I have to pull 18" in my class! Thanks.

Well no documentation on HP numbers here, but we did a little work this summer and upped the power with a cam and intake swap. New headers too. I havn't had a chance to put a vac guage on it, but it should be close to 14" @1000rpm. The cam is Damon's old one. Lemonator Saturday Night Special. Intake is one of the TFS prototype units. Added an MSD dizzy also. I am hoping to hit a dyno this winter with it and get some new numbers to compare to the old ones, but the seat of the pants-O-meter says we added at least 100 hp to it minimum. I can flog the wee out of a set of 38" uncut boggers and it handled a set of 18X39.5 cut boggers quite well up in Sturgis.

Man, I just cought this. I didn't realize that yo uwere running a 552ci. I need to pack my junk up and head out mid west and play with you guys!

The key word is "were" (past tense) running a 552", you may not want to get paired up with him this year as there is sumthin a brewin in Nebraski LOL

Not quite. Budget went all to hell when the wife lost her job. So I go some other stuff in the works and all new gearing to make up for the lack of hp
