Re: Gas vs Alky........
I didn't have timeto tune the carb any, I made one hit n/a, It left real soft but ran the same mph as the alky inj...........I'm sure with tuning it would pick up some. I put the hose to it and thats when the Q shines, with my t/u I was running with the c16 enriched plate along with the alky in it gained a good bit of et and mph........I wont say how much. Nick dont go looking for the vids on youtube, BigRob was at El Reno filming the smalltown weekend race.................
I upped the jets 2 sizes and I gotta go fix my HeRo oil pan now....................its my fault really I didnt have any timing pulled out with the 7531 to keep the car from trying to flip over backwards.

Damn you've see the light!
Re: Gas vs Alky........
On a real good race engine I think gas and mech inj both are about the same if you get the tune right, on a lesser engine the alky will show more gain, on a nos engine the gas shows more gain.
To say one is better over the other for every application is wrong, it will work on either, some better on some.
Pick your poison lol. I will say I can buy 5 drums of alky for one drum of Q..............

I have a pretty good idea how much it gained you don't need to post it...richter69 wrote:I didn't have timeto tune the carb any, I made one hit n/a, It left real soft but ran the same mph as the alky inj...........I'm sure with tuning it would pick up some. Re: Gas vs Alky........
One will always do better than the other , considering the tune and delivery is correct
