I imagine you're talking "dial your own", "break out" racing...?
They got a class around here where, whatever you dial on your first competition run is also your dial number for the rest of the race ... no changin' the dial, just do what you gotta do to make your car hit it.

Re: GRUDGE FEST @ the 2011 BBF Bash
you know me by know guys , my mouth is faster then my car
but i do have a hypothical question , if a dragster can run 4.40's on a 35 x16 or what ever what could it run on a true 10.5" slick ? or is it even posibble with the chassis height ? is there even a company that offers a 10.5" tire but tall enough for a dragster ?
just curious

Re: GRUDGE FEST @ the 2011 BBF Bash
They have a class at Indy running 10.5s on dragsters and number 1 has been around 3.93 1/8 mile. Craig Sullivan has run low 4.20's on 10.5 tire also.
As far as the track goes i will have it in fine shape. Not to worry.

Re: GRUDGE FEST @ the 2011 BBF Bash
Not sure cause I don't like to lose.My car is coming around but still not getting down the track consistant enough to be putting alot of $$ on it. I think that windy hollow will be better to get down than what I'm used to.We have a good track but by the the time I got the car better the track is so hot and slick it is hard to get down.I don't have any set up info to go back to.I should be easy pickins for ya'll.bruno wrote:dr's wife racing wrote:Sounds like fun but a grand is too rich for my blood.

Re: GRUDGE FEST @ the 2011 BBF Bash
A car setup to run a big tire is set up to run a big tire. I.E gearing, suspension, etc, etc. I dont know of many guys that will go out and buy a new set of baby tires, do testing for suspension setting, pull off their wheelie bars, and throw a grand out ther for a 1 time deal. Why dont you make it run whatcha brung and hope you brought enough? If its a grudge deal it should be put up or shut up, and thats it. If you cant run under those conditions you shouldnt be in the other lane.bruno wrote:you know me by know guys , my mouth is faster then my car
