KY and Dan update
Dan went to run with the Dixie Door slammers with Ky. Ky side swiped the wall, (water on the track) but came back to win the next round. (car is ok just bent the wing and scratched the rear quarter). Dan was up against the (I think) # 1 qualifier, A little birdie told me he was messing with the guy, telling him this round he was on the hose heavy
But he wasn't and the head game didn't work , he's on the trailer. Guy did cut a .700 light and almost let Dan get the win.
I will post more as I hear something.

Re: KY and Dan update
We made it home about 3 am . Dan is still sacked out as I type this . We had a blast. Check out Dan's qualifying buddy The Big and Nasty car in this photo
They brought out the big guns on us. Dan had to run Lambert first round (jerry hass promod 598 big chief on nos ) Dan told him I am fixing to spray its azz off this pass lol.
I had a decent night other than the water/ wall brushing issue first round of qualifying , not sure where it came from ? I had a .418, .408, and .399 reaction times during eliminations The car ran a 5.19 best. I will post some video's later.

Here is a link on midsouth racers of some pics taken by a race fan of some of the dds cars and some bracket cars. http://www.midsouthracers.com/forum/index.php?topic=17902.0
Here are a few videos including the brush with the wall and Dan v/s Big and Nasty lol . I believe the water came from a leaking head gasket even though it only done it once.

Re: KY and Dan update
Looks like there is a small trail of water at the left rear area judging by the video. Lucky to say the least, the rear of the car going left anymore could have made a serious headon collision with the wall. Good driving, not sure I could have recouped that one.

Re: KY and Dan update
Could the water be from the radiator puke tank?

Re: KY and Dan update
Somebody found my smack talking pic
Travis , I have played the video in slow mo and the only place I can see water is close to the middle off to the right side just a bit. One of my friends also wiped the water up off the track , said it was in the same spot it appears in the video.
Dave the puke tank only had about 1/4 full of water in it and it is on the left side of the car. It was only 160 degrees when I got back to the trailer so I don't think just heat from water expansion could have caused it to puke.
I normally stage at 160 , but I had warmed the engine up earlier to get the oil up to temp and cooled the water. I staged around the 135 range to try and get a better qualifying et.
I don't know if the cooler staging temp could have let the water slip out or not. I actually tested it on the transbrake twice in the pits to identify where the water was coming from , but nothing came out the rest of the night other than in the over flow tank.

We had a blast at this race. Glad I went. The people love the old Tbird ,even setting next to the ProMod blower cars ,people are still snapping more pics of it than the others..lol...I'm gonna try to pick it up some and be more competitive. I'm not sure I wanna go 4.89...That's haulin ass But I'm sure once I get closer .I'll want more
