Credit Report Scam
So the wife caught some charges on our visa from Freecreditscore.com (877-300-2507) and creditreport.com (877-297-7790). This has been going for two months. I did a search online and there are tons of complaints about them charging people that have never contacted them. I called the "300" number and talked to two people that said it was fraudulent charges and they would reverse them. Only 7-10 days for the refund so we will see. She asked me about a few names of people I never knew saying they were the names on the account. This is the part I don't get. Who would use a stolen credit card to acquire a credit report on themselves? It would be like robbing a bank with your ID on your chest. The whole thing seems like a scam to me. Charge people and refund those that don't catch it.
