Amber's first swim meet!

My Daughter Amber has been swimming for two weeks. Her first swim meet was this past Saturday. We didn't know the coach was going to put her in.

This was the last event of the day. Amber has not even learned how to dive yet. I know it looks bad but damn it,... that's my baby.

She gave it all she had. I was a total mess, tears of joy man just tears of joy! Funny thing is, she has been playing in the lake at the cabin since she was 3 years old. I had no ideal she couldn't swim!!!! She can now... She swims for Southfield Lathrup High School

but man that would have touched the hardest man in the world heart! Damon two weeks ago she couldn't get into the deep end!!!

I will tell all of you KY boys a funny story about this when I get back down there in late OCT

After Wesley's football season is over, me and him are heading up to dano's for a long weekend. I'm sure we are going to make the rounds once we get there. You, lem, KY and Charlie!

That's great to see her swim, brings back memories. I was on a Jr swim team plus my High school swim team. I've played many of sports, by far swimming is the hardest.!! If you get tired you can't just stop, stand there and catch your breath.. You will die in a pool.. Tell her to keep it up and do the best she can. Great video..

Its amazing how a little kid can bring you to tears!! I've been there too!! You should be proud.

Thats cool D! I use to hate ball & stick sports til my little girls started playing softball, now I'm hooked. No matter what, you'll worrie less just knowing see can swim.
