Pictures of pull trucks

I was just interested in seeing some of the pull trucks everyone had on this site. So if you don't mind lets see em.....

And maybe cubic inches and class you pull in too

Why don't you get it started.

Pro Stock 6200 lb, 460, stock pistons & rods w/ comp 292h, Torker II, 1050 Dominator, dove-C heads (w/2.23 intakes. 1.76 ex., ported ), & homemade 2-1/8" into 4" headers.
Temporary engine just to stay in the game till the 533 is done.

tell me how are you posting the picts, all I seem to be able to do is make a url to redirect you to photobucket...

Go to photobucket, find picture you want, put cursor over picture and a dropdown list will appear, left click on img code, it will then say "copied". Go back to your post and right click, when dropdown appears left click "paste". That's how I did it.

This was my first pull truck, 472ci BBF



This is my current truck, same truck just 1980 front clip and bed. 505ci BBF. 6200lb Altered Street

I know there has to be more people with pulling trucks on this site!! Come on guys lets see em all. Even if you pull in street class or whatever, PULLING TRUCKS ARE AWESOME!!!!

Even the big guys had to start somewhere, so if you are still working on your trucks those pics will work too.

Nice, I gess you had to fly cut the pistons with the 2.23 valves, if you did how much?

Nope, didn't have to fly cut. The shortblock is a 1978, the pistons are way down in the hole and the cam isn't that big and is installed dot to dot on the timing set. I tried it on the 4 degree advance marks and it was too close for comfort. This was just a thrown together motor with parts I had just so I could go to a couple of the local pulls.

That's really neat, we don't see too many 2wd street trucks around here (Central VA). Actually only one and he pulls with the 4wds sometimes just for fun!!

This is the truck that I do my pulling with. It's primarily a street truck, with an iron headed 10:1 472. It makes a lot of nice looking chevy's look really bad. I drive it to work all the time in the summer, and beat on it all weekend long. It will always be a street truck, and I've been restoring it from the ground up. It took most of my free time last winter to repair the cab.

This winter I haven't had time to touch it. I have some plans for the engine this year too, but it will still have the stock crank. I might get to some more bodywork this fall if I can find time. I hate bodywork.

I have a 530 CID A-460 block, Trick Flow A-460 Heads With 2.400 Ti Int and 1.800 Ti Exh. Valves, Running a 1250 Domi. Down a Ported TFS intake ported to the max. To Diamond 4.530 Bumpy top pistons Squeezing the Q16 and Air mixture to 16 to 1 in the chambers. Pounding out 1025 Horse Power and 985 # of Torque. Not the Biggest or Baddest Engine out there But big enough to hang with the crowd.
