On pace for the 2012 BBF Bash!
Just wanted to give an updated as to where I'm at with my build. I put the new front suspension on, installed the engine, installed most of the interior along with the shifter and some fabricated parts. Here are a few pictures to enjoy!!!
I got it low and to the back!
In these pictures I used the plum bob method along with a laser to set the motor in nice and straight. It seems to have worked, only 2.5 mm off from dead nuts on the tail shaft!!!
some FAB work!
I didn't like the big azz empty hole behind the steering wheel so I made an aluminum plug to fill it with. I don't know if I'm going to polish it or cover it in black leather. The dash, gauges and switches are done!!!
I also fabricated up a line lock switch next to the shifter with a activation light.

I'll tell you what, the time just fly's in the garage dude...richter69 wrote:I see you musta got you propane jugs filled..............lookin good D now hurry the hell up, if they is a bash this year it will be right around the corner before you know it ................
I'm going thru 20 lbs of propane a day at $19.95 a pop. I'm going to Lowe's Monday and buying me a 100lb tank. It will be cheaper by far...

crank center and pinion center, then drop one from the tail shaft of the trans and that gap is how much you are off. Look at picture number 7, you can see my 2.5 mm gap from the laser vs the center line of the trans.
Somebody else might have a better way...
