Nitrous Refill Pump

Who makes a nitrous pump that is decent and will last a while? Looking for one for my pump station.

i personnelly would ask Steve ....but NOS makes them and so do these guys ....

Freeze the host bottle and there is no need for a pump, unless your in a hurry ........

We used to do that, takes too long, I'm not very patient....You can also use a ac vacuum pump and put the bottle in a vacuum so when you hook the frozen bottle up, and open the valve it sucks the n2o out of the mother bottle.

Thing is we sold lots and lots of nitrous to the outlaw racers last year and it can get very grusome filling bottles very quickly. The most I helped with was 3 mother bottles in less than 5 hrs. It helped to put the bottles on ice. I need a small chest freezer.

The freezer deal works for me, I got plenty of time lol. I sell a bit of nos as well, I just have the guys leave the bottles with me for a half a day or so, I'll vacuum down an empty bottle, stick it in a small freezer i have in the shop for a few hours, the mother bottle will fill it in one shot. I did buy a good scale, the freezer I have will hold 2 at a time, but if I have a bunch to do at one I have a big deep freeze in the garage at the house I can toss several in as well. Before I put my setup together i took my bottles up to Ted's, I will say it took as long or longer to fill 3 bottles with his pump vs my setup..........less the time fore the bottles to chill of course. I have had an issue or 2 with a customers bottles leaking at the oring where the valve assy meets the bottle when frozen, setting the filled bottle in my hotbox for a few minutes to warm the the bottle back up to ambient temp seals it right back up.

i've always used the freezer and a bathroom scale.lol

bathroom scales aint super accurate, I bought one at Staples that will read to the ounce, I only fill um with 9 lbs of contents anyway.

pussy.........do you know what happens when you over fill a frozen bottle? i do we aint got a f***en staplesin my neck of the woods.

We sell the black square style pump just like NOS, Edelbrock and some of the others use.. The pumps are pretty pricey but are worth it if you fill a lot of bottles.. Thanks, SJ

I always use the freeze method also (went to lowes a bought a small chest freezer it fits 6 bottles) and i have a heater on the mother bottle thats made for it plus i use a nice fish scale to weigh them.

We bought the NX fill station several years ago. Fill only our bottles. We have had to have the pump rebuilt once. Works great. We try to chill the bottles anyway. Makes filling a lot quicker. Just wished we could get all the nitrous out of the mother bottle.
