bottle bath pics
thought I would post a pic of the last bottle bath we did. 15 lb version. we finished this one out per customer request. didn't get a pic of the last one which was powder coated black. I am much more proud of the aluminum ones than the cheaper plastic ones we have done in the past which didn't have a digital controller.
There are so many bad ass versions of these out there now that we haven't had the opportunity to make many lately. I noticed that Induction Solutions has a nice one now and it even uses the same digital controller that we have been using for years. Makes me feel good that I chose quality parts.
Lets make this a picture post. Post em if you got em.

Re: bottle bath pics
I have a NX fire and ice. I put the bottle in the car and it's ready in 15 minutes and it keeps the pressure at 1000 consistently. That bath looks really nice I like it a lot. I have just never had the need for one. After a run I get back to the pits and switch out bottles and it's always good to go in a few minutes. I guess if I ran in the arctic it would be different...
Re: bottle bath pics
I leave the bottle in the hotbox until they call us to the lanes, takes about 30 seconds to pop the bottle in the car.........I set the hotbox at about 96* which is around 1100 psi, I purge the bottle down to 950 if we run right away or its real hot out and the bottle won't cool down in time. If we get stuck in the lanes I have a long cord and a 12v truck battery on the 4wheeler I can plug the heating pad in...........those pads will kill a battery pretty quick and we run a single 16v on the car with no alternator. System works pretty good for me.

It's all about consistency in the tune. Takes some variables out of the equation. Most of ours go to top sportsman guys and guys tuning on the ragged edge in heads up stuff.

That's what's nice about the nx controller it heats it and cools it if need be. It's never ran my battery down. I just put the bottle in and forget it.
