Looking for someone to cut mud tires
I was hoping someone could tell me who I could contact about a set of cut tractor tires or cut boggers. I'm looking for a light weigh, cut, R1 tractor tire around 33-35"

Yep, like Eric said, Scott @ Racing in the dirt is a great guy.

Yep, give Scott a call. I love my v-cut TSL's I got from him. I did my own boggers with a grooving iron I bought. Takes a while but worth it in the end.

Does that make sense, I want a 32"-35" tire to run like a smaller 29.5 tire?Except benifit from the mph the larger diameter gives me?

Scott called me back this evening. He believes he can come close to cuttting my wheel and tire weights in half.

I can believe it. I know that when I weighed my 39.5x18 bogger on aluminum wheels, they weighed around 200lbs. After I cut them down and scooped the lugs, the same wheel/tire weighed right at 100lbs! That's a huge difference when racing!

He suggested some 31x10.5-15 cut tsl and going to the wide 5! Really looking foward to the wide 5. Might go with a wider tire though as long as it's close to the same weight! We figure 37-42lbs for wheel and tire.
This is for my Polaris Ranger 800. With me it probably weighs 1,600lbs? I ran a 10.15 in the 200' race pit last weekend on the rpm'd out by 100'. I know I can pick-up 3 seconds if I can keep it pulling the entire length. I know I need to make big changes in the clutch weights now.
