Great news from RaysRacing

Jeff called me last night and told me a few minutes earlier that his Dad woke from his coma as he was watching TV. He said his Dad said ,Hey Jeff...and he replied ,yes Pop? Pop says:how bad is the car tore up? Jeff says:it's done Pop,aint no fixin it.Pop says : how's my hands ? Jeff touched his left arm and his Pop asked :how many fingers do I have? He told him :all of them are there,can you move them? He moved them all. Pop asked about his right arm? Jeff told him that he'd lost it at the wrist..Pop said well,we got to get that fixed because "I ain't done yet"!!!Jeff asked him to wiggle his toes,which he did! Then he ask him if he could see? He said yes.Jeff said are you sure you can see??? Again he said yes! Jeff said well read me the line on the TV across the room....His Pop read it to him perfectly!! Then his Pop tells him ,we gotta get a dragster!! I'd like to say thanks to everyone for their prayers for the Ray Family!! This is nothing short of a miracle!!

It's a wonderful feeling to know I helped a friend in need, but I'm alot happier for his recovery than I am proud. You just never know how a person is doing in a coma until they come out of it. This is just amazing to me ,especially after what I saw when I got to him.It's GREAT!!

Jeff and I both get emotional every time we talk....We both know it's a miracle his Pop is still here,and the best thing is hand or no hand he will get to spend some more time on this earth with his loved ones!! I know all too well the feeling of loosing your Pop!! I'd give anything for some more time with mine!
