I like the concept but couple questions,
1. Do you think the headers being close to the adapter will cause the oil to heat up too much?
2. Will the heat cause the seal to get brittle and leak?
Maybe it's just the angle of the pics that make it look so close.

IMHO, in a drag race application with the short run times, I wouldn't think that would be a problem. If it was a roundy-roundy car it could be an issue, but you could always make a heat shield to solve that problem.

I was thinking more of a heat soak deal after the run on the seal part, the oil not getting hot due to the short run times does make sense though.
I do think they look great though!
