C6 v/s C6 Empty C6 v/s C6

I have a std c6 that needs building and that i used for mock up.
And I just bought a c6 that suppose to be beefed up. The std c6 input shaft turns pretty easy but the beefed up c6 is harder to turn. Any thoughts why their diff?
