EFI 460 and 78/79 Fords?
Ok, looking for some good advise here. I'm building another bronco, but a much less "extreme" build than my last one. Looking to swap in a '92 460 and wondering about the exhaust. I don't know how the '92 exhaust manifolds are gonna work with the '78 frame and such, is it worth even messing with them?
Am I better off just stripping the heads/intake off the EFI motor and getting a set of D2s/D3s and a regular carbed intake so I can use '70s truck manifolds? I'm not going EFI, so that isn't an issue either.
I don't want to use headers, just trying to keep the cost down. This is slated to be a more family friendly ride, with a back seat and some street manners too.

If it were mine, I'd just do a nice set of D3's and run common easy to do stuff. JMO

I'm doing a 92 460 for one of my trucks. I'm gonna just use the short block and put D3's that I have on it. That was the easy route for me. I've got the efi manifolds,I'll look at them and see if they are close to the 70's manifolds.
