Need prayers

Last Thursday I got a call at work from my Dad. He's 75, in poor health, has a hard time getting around so he uses a walker or a cane and oxygen when necessary. He was obviously in distress, having a hard time breathing and his oxygen rig wasn't working. My Mom was at a Christmas party and he was home alone. I told him to hang tight and I would call 911 and then rush over to meet them. When I got there they were loading him up to take him to the hospital. After many tests they determined that he has congestive heart disease and after a stress test they found something else but because his kidneys are in such bad shape the are unable to do an angiogram because it would probably kill him. They moved him to a nursing home yesterday until his health improves and the can do more tests. I' really worried guys, my brother keeps reminding me what a tough son if a bitch he is but I'm afraid he's not coming home this time. His biggest fear is dieing in one of those places, so if you can use any influence you have with the guy upstairs I'd really appreciate it. I'm just not ready to loose my Dad yet. I'm going through the same thing as both my parents are in poor health. Mom is dewindling away quite rapidly because of Parkinson's, doubt she'll be with us much longer,looks like we'll have to get her in a nursing home pretty soon . Dad is just so bullheaded don't know what we'll do when he can't take care of himself.

Man sorry to hear this, prayers going out from here. Just remember that it's all in The Good Lord's hands and we don't really have a say in how it all turns out.

Thanks for the support guys. I've got the flu so I haven't been able to see him but my mom says he's doing well and can't wait to go home. I'm just hoping for the best
