Re: Chuck's 1970 Mustang: The Rebuild...
More progress Sunday.
Moved the old car out to the "Auto Graveyard" but didn't make it all the way, the ground was a little "squishy'
A few friends came over to help and this one has a message for you guys
Trimmed inside the quarters to fit the tires and start fitting the wheel tubs.
Here's Super Eddie holding down the front end

Chuck will get some 0.250" Aluminum so we can make the engine plates and he may have the chassis powdercoated this week.

We pulled the rear out and took it apart. It will be for sale along with the ladder bars, I need to post it in the classifieds and racing junk.

Damon,
The new car looks good sitting on the ground with the back wheels under it.I see all your snow has melted still have quite a bit on the ground here but the rain melted some today.Keep the pictures coming,it was nice enough Sunday that i washed my truck and started and ran my Mustang for a bit.
Later Mark.

Hey, Damon:
You guy's are coming along real well on Chuck's new ride! But you've got an awful lot to do for it to make it's debut at the 2010 Big Block Ford Bash - SO QUIT PATTING YOURSELVES ON THE BACK AND GET BUSY!! Just kidding of course, I wouldn't want Chuck to snap my neck (LOL).

It doesn't need paint to go down the track.
My motto is that "It doesn't need to look good to go fast"
Get that thing bolted together. Run it to sort it out then blow it apart to paint and detail it...
