The ole Maverick ran some 9.90's w/Dove headed 466/C6 and 4.30 gears. Car weighed 2,995# w/me.

How much more power does a 408 w need to make up for the weight of the BBF?

for you I think I would have someone fix your 408 . that's pretty lame for that much engine....especially with Nitrous.

Weren't you last year going to put a BBC in this car cuz you got Pissed ? cuz you come on here asking a bunch of BBC questions and didn't like the answers? Who in their right mind would come on a BBF sight and ask about his BBC and how to fix it?

your goals are obtainable even with the 408, but you got a bad mix of parts to get there w that even.

goin fast aint easy or cheap

My 9.5:1 370 inch made 679 on the dyno with tfs-r heads. And that's setup for the turbo. For your deal, fix the motor and run it.
