think I'll take off Monday and Tuesday to go chase this possible outbreak here in OK and TX.........

racing on saturday, then 3 possible chase days after that? Man it dont get much better than that.

dad brought the edge in today and I got it all serviced up......... broken windshield here we come.......

we got mad cameras, 2 go pros, The HD dashmount, and the new Nikon P510 the wife got me.

Ill have the gopro at the track also lol.

I think my Dad has streaming video but Im not sure he uses it much, it uses up the resources for the laptop etc. I know he has a gps tracker also.

We are still way behind some of the pros with the equipment, but considering we started out with a paper road map and a battery powered NOAA weather radio Id say we are a lot better equiped than most.

Having a buddy that is a paid chaser for one of the major news stations that pumps us info dont hurt either.

possible tornado outbreak today in my backyard this afternoon. last might there were some flies in the ointment but as of now they are all gone. warm front surging northward, went from mid 50s here to mid 70s in about an hour.

gonna roll out here in an hour and head to sw wc OK, got my lucky UCC tornado chasin shirt on, blasted a little srv here getting all gathered up, cameras charged........ ready to get it on.........

I spend time trying to get away from them and you chase them.I know it is different there where you can see for miles.Here they just pop up over the hills and trees. But come on man. Becarefll.

what a pain in the ass, did manage to get within a block of a rain wrapped funnel lol, toms of rain, lots of flooding around here, we had reports of 100 mile winds here in town but I think thats a false report.

had a lightning bolt hit about 150' in front of us...... that ll wake your ass up lol.
