Another project in the drive.. just not mine :sad:

Been helping a friend of mine with this truck. Its an 87 F250 4x4, 460 4spd truck. He got it from a guy that let it set for 6 years because the carb started leaking.
We got it running and home, then I have replaced the rear spring packs, both tanks and pumps, rebuilt the carb and other assorted stuff and I think I'm going to have to replace the fuel lines because the carb keeps getting little flakes in the bowls and they get in the needle/seat. My friend paid $500 for it with the plow. I offered him double that and the heffer won't sell it to me...

Oh well, its still a cool old truck and runs like a scalded dawg....

Nice but isn't that an 85-86?? The 87's were different in the front end. What ever it still is cool. I wish I had the money to buy all the 460 vans I see for sale!!

Good catch, I had a brain fart. it is an 85. 87-91 was a different nose.
