I liked flip just building a semi nitrous motor and giving it all it wanted and then some. Its hard on the street to hook since most cars leave hard in the sticky then hit the bare road and away it goes. only reason the chebbies are winning is that they are under powered and able to not spin  Razz  Anyone know how fast the fastest car on the show is?

I would venture to say that the monte and a couple others are deep in the 7s@mid 4s @the track

If they can put down a full tilt launch an stick, on a prepped track, I would agree. Some one needs to put the track timers on the street and take a few times, those are the number's I want to see. I could see a second coming off the above 1/4 mile time, and the 1/8 mile time would be off even more on the index chart corilation, because they are bringing the power on the long end of the street, if they would run a full 1/4 mile pass. I would be very shocked, if they could pull a high 4, on the street. I think a high 7 could be done, by the Monte and Sonoma, but would not come easy. To put this into a little perspective, I remember Frankie Taylor making 4.20ish passes in a Promod on a fully prepped track in Navosto Texas, in the mid to late 90's. I cannot phathom, that being done on the street, unless you use jet propusion.

I don't know if they have taken the monte to a well prepped track with the new motor but before that I knew what most of those cars could run and will say that most are pretty quick. Remember that most of them are setup for low powered starts and dead hooking so it is really kind of unfair to compare track times. If setup for the track a few of those cars are mid 4 second cars.

Whats your guess what it would be on a 1/8 mile street pass, with a 4.70 track time? Wish they would do a 1/4 and time it just to see.

I have a 67 lwb Ford Truck that I think can beat him. It was registered as "pro-frm". When I registered it all you could get was 6 letters and or numbers. How in hell can anyone get him to race?

I would buy this thing if the price was around $5000 or so. It would be a pretty cool daily driver and them dodge boys do know how to make a cumminns run. It should really do pretty good being a 2wd and all.
