Start Point
[size=12]I have a IS fogger system that I bought off this forum. I need a starting point. Would 22/20 with 6.5 on the fuel be a safe start? 532, glide, 9 in converter and 4.86 rear???

It's a 532 in a 2700 lb Pinto. I run 112 fuel. The ignition is all MSD with a digital retard box. 7AL2, trans brake, and a delay box.

Re: Start Point
You shoulda got the tune up sheets with it.
If not there should be a serial number onit, call Steve andmthey should, have all the info you need.
no sense guessing when you have a flowed setup like that.

It's the system that Bruno had on his car. IS could not help me because there is no numbers on the intake. Bruno will not return my calls. You can see the build on the IS web site. The intake that has the gray powder coat.

Re: Start Point
FYI: fat is not as safe as you probably think.
Fuel pressure will be jet dependent. Since your system is flowed the math is not that difficult. Just wait for Nick to get back to you after he speaks with Steve.

Re: Start Point
what jet do you want to start with first a 20?if so start with 20nos/14fuel that is a 6 jet spread with the 6.5 fuel psi that should be plenty fat.
but then again if it were me I would work toward 8 jet spread with 5.5 fuel psi "too fat is not always safe"

Over timed and fat are what we see most of the time in failures. We don't have any customers running anything smaller than 36's and most are in the 48+ range and they all use close to the same fuel jet. We do adjust fuel pressure so the ratios are what we want them to be and then read the plugs from there.
