Stock 1996 EFI, can I use my A429 heads?

Bought a toy truck, can I run my a429 heads on the stock short block while deal with a new build?  Need to finish big inch bottom end but want to try and continue building the truck, exhaust, fuel system etc. at the same time.  I have an old Motorsport cam and some other odds and ends to add to it if it can be made to run.

Should be clear I know they are not compatible with the EFI stuff, it will get a victor and a set of maddogs as well.
