Mother Bottle w/ Tube

For years I have had the same mother bottle with no tube and have inverted the bottle. Well this week the company I used told me they were not carrying nitrous anymore so I went to another company and everything they use has a siphon tube. So now my bottle has a tube and I plan to fill a few bottles before Saturday. I have a NX pump that’s 4 or 5 yrs old (hope it still works). Can you get any nitrous out of the mother bottle without the pump? Hot mother and cold 15 pounders? Guess I will find out shortly.

we dont use a pump at all. we have a heater on the mother bottle and put the nitrous bottle in a freezer for a little bit and that's about it. I will say that we never fill bottles to their ratings due to SJ's advice about the subject.

No pump here, i have 3 mother bottles 2 w/0 a tube and one with, i get about the same amount out of each. I fill my 10 lb bottles w 9 lbs max

Many guys fill bottles without a pump. In MOST cases you do not even need to try and heat the mother bottle as long as ambient temp is not real low. Then just chill down your bottle to be filled and away you go.. Be VERY careful when filling this way too. It is very easy to over fill a bottle when doing this. There NOTHING good about a nitrous bottle that is over filled.. Thanks, SJ
