Need some prayers

Just took my baby girl Shelby to Children's Hospital in Omaha.  She has a real bad case of Micro Plasma Pneumonia and a collapsed lung.  Doc says she'll be fine, but it's gonna take some doing to get her well.  What a week so far.  Lost a bunch of irrigation systems Sat night in a bad wind storm, then got to go to ER yesterday for 11 stitches in my finger and now this.  Good Lord sure put a lot on our plate this week.

Seen the Dr today and have at least 8 more weeks of being a lefty

Thanks for the prayers and kind words guys.  Her fever is gone this morning and she's resting comfortably.  They're pumping her full of some heavy duty antibiotics right now and hoping that'll knock it out.

Good luck with your daughter Rob, breaks my heart when little ones get sick.

Thanks again for all of the prayers.  They just told us they are going to put in a chest tube after dinner and start draining fluid out of her lungs. Sounds like next week till we get out of here.

The Doc that was stitching me up the other day was laughing pretty hard when I was talking to Lem about parts for the race truck while she was sewing me back together.

We'll send prayers from here Rob ... Hope she gets better quick ...

Thanks Dan.  It's looking up already.  She is heading to surgery any minute and then she will be able to reexpand her lung and get down the road to recovery.  I count my blessings as there are a lot of kids here that aren't as fortunate.  Surgery team was working on a young child with a complicated tumor all afternoon.  Makes this deal look like a cakewalk

Made it through surgery with no issues.  On towards the recovery end.
