Blueprinting NOS ?
so what is actually behind the process ....... do you actually measure the flow of nos vs fuel on the bench ?? .... is there research done on nozzle placement in relationship to the port or port design ...... do you take in account for head flow #s ...... meaning velocity .......
just curious
just curious

Re: Blueprinting NOS ?
Nick,
Our blueprinting process I talk about is basically similar to when an engine builder blueprints and engine...
We go thru the solenoids, nozzles, fittings, lines, and finally the jets. The solenoids we like to concentrate on the nitrous orifice size and plunger lift, replace the nitrous plungers W/ teflon plungers and replace fuel plungers if needed.
We then go thru the nozzles and check passages, internal plugs in some makes, change the tubes in some and so on..
Then thru the fittings and lines. You'll be surprised in how many systems we find the lines to be the restriction before the jet or jets ..
Then we install our jets and wet flow both the fuel and nitrous sides of the system to measure nitrous to fuel ratio and a starting point for the combo were working with...
Once we have blueprinted and flowed a system we then offer our tech support and tuning help as if it were one of our systems from the start... Hope this helps guys understand part of what we do.. Thanks, Steve

All of the kits we install are blueprinted and flowed... Thanks, SJ
