Winter Build Plans Anyone??

I'll be sending out my sponsor request letters next month.
Hoping for a Danny Bee belt drive and a "Leminator" cam.

I have so much to do right now, I will just add what I'm working on at the moment. The complete interior is being put back into the car. Today I will install the headliner...

I'm upgrading my 557 to a 588. I broke a roller lifter back in the spring and upon teardown found several pistons with cracked skirts. They had been in use since 2001, so I got my money's worth out of them.

I already have an A-460 block, Crower 4.500 crank, and Oliver rods. Plans are for a set of 4.560 Diamond pistons, new cam and lifters, Crower rockers, and maybe an external oil pump.

I have a unique opportunnity to test another set of heads. I already have a decent set of A-460's. My buddy has a nice set of A's that were fixed by Ted Fisher of Engine Systems. My buddy has no use for the heads at this time, so he's going to let me use them next season. I'll use my heads initially, then put his on for a good back-to-back comparison.

I haven't raced much at all the past few years, so I'm pretty excited to get this engine fixed and really get after it next year!
