Fords do "fly"!
4,200 mile round trip to Needles Cali.
first pic was the day i left Michigan, -19 degs..
took the 58 f-100 and the boat.
Weather on the way was nasty, Amarillo about took myself and the rig out..
Weather on the river was in the 80's..
The Ford powered "K" boat opened alot of eyes of the Chevy guys...
Need to do some Cav plate changes and maybe a gear change from 54's to 45's.
I'll post up more pics and some videos soon..

i live in the shity weather, but never expected Amarillo to be the death of me.
45 vehicle pile up on I-40, ICE, ICE, ICE... Fucking sucked!!
i take it Amarillo doesnt have the equipment to remove snow and ice very quickly, then again why would they? Texas only see's that type of weather once or twice...

this time on my trip i wasnt in a new superduty doing 80-mph.. Due to my old truck and pulling the boat i was much slower.. i seen alot of idiots in cars and trucks cutting in front of semis, giving them no room to stop or move.. I can just bet one of thee ass-twats during the white out caused the pile up...
I see why truck drivers have a hard life on the road...

its not a drag boat, its a circle race boat.
when i get it set up correctly it should do 140mph in the straights, down peddle and turn left. I have to big of a prop, and not enough down travel on the cav plates. all that will be taken care of soon!!!

Adam it is the same up North I went to Michigan in November and some girl was on cruise passed up in white out on I-95 outside of Benton harbor and spun out in front of a semi and took out about 5 or 6 cars and drove on and her car wouldn't steer right front wheel folded under, that happens 50 ft in front of us, but I saw it coming so I was driving like 15 mph...If I was that Semi driver I would have wiped her out and drove on....

Normally we have several rounds of crappy weather each year. This year has been much wetter than normal though. Not that I am complaining!
Glad to see you made it thru w/o getting anything torn up.
