Stange 9 inch case advise needed

I got to get a strange case for my 69 cougar, it has the factory 9 inch in it now,
28 spline axles. Gonna upgrade to a strange case and 31 spine axles
Just not sure which one to get. 547bbf 700 plus hp 150hp nitrous.

I use the 3.25" commonly referred to back in the day as the Daytona (big bearing). I would ask if you have bought your axles yet... and if you haven't why not use a larger 35-spline, I believe the cost is about the same.If it is drag only you can go bigger yet, but as I recall you were streeting it too!.

I'd go 35 spline too, and get the big bearing and 10 bolt Daytona pinion support. Give Quick Performance a shout he has great prices and awesome support.

I just took my 35 splines out and went with 40 spline gun drilled. I'll be selling axles and spool here soon. Length was somewhere around 26" if I remember right.
