Help on a 2.3 header
My Dad has a 2003 Ford Ranger he is wanting to put a split header on and put duals on it he 68 and thinks he has to have duals and glass packs on any truck he gets. I have tried google and have not come up with a split header yet just wondering if anyone might know where we can find one that will work. The price will more than likely change his mind on the split header if we can find one.
Thanks for any help on this Jim

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to spend a weekend with him and build one to me. A flange and some tubing shouldn't be a crapload of cash spent.

It's going to sound like a Farmall tractor, best bet is remove the exhaust from the cat back, get a
Y pipe and run the duals without the glass packs. He'll pick up a little power, and keep the OBD2
system happy...

The trick is leaving the cat as it will smooth out the sound. It'll sound good with straight pipes...
