Call it “trigger happy” and have him air brush the front to look like a bullet in flight. With that pinched nose it should flow nicely with the body lines.

Re: 25.1E ------- 64 Fairlane
I mentioned the name Chevy Destroyer to one of my Chevy buddies and he just didn't see the humor in it --- must have hit a nerve ha ha. Some good ideas guys I am looking for a name as a Thunderbolt tribute type name. Years back there was a FE Galaxie lightweight in our area with the name Old Thunder. The idea around the name lightningbolt is that thunder is the aftermath of the high energy lightning event.

I've been following your build since you started posting over at the ghost town and I have to say it again, outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. With that said, I think your buddy hit it on the head with Lightening Bolt, or just Thunder. Can't wait to see the car finished

I'm sorry as I'm pretty sure it's been covered, is the tin the same color as the cage, the tin looks lighter but it could also be how much more light it grabs than round tube

Re: 25.1E ------- 64 Fairlane
You are seeing it correctly. The cage is painted a dark Mercedes Bronze metallic and the aluminum tin work is anodized a medium bronze and the anodizing picks up the light differently than paint also. And there is the flat panel vs round tube deal also.

Re: 25.1E ------- 64 Fairlane
You guys have come up with some clever name ideas. I like your line of thought
Bill;
Yes I am guilty. As a matter of fact we built 2 -- 4 link dragsters. One with the coil overs in front of the axle housing painted red and the other with the coil overs behind the axle housing and that one was the green car.

Re: 25.1E ------- 64 Fairlane
Back from Idaho with lettering and air brush work finished.
A shot of Jeff creating the magic
WOW --- Jeff pulled the rabbit out of the hat ---- again.
Amazing detail ---- Check it out against a picture of a stock grill.
Check out the suttle letter shadowing and don't over look the pin stripping.
Free hand pin stripping anyone.
All the air brush / lettering and pin stripping is paint. No vinyl

Looks awesome!
Should be much more slippery than the original "brick facing"
I like the aluminum lower valence....and everything else..
Looking forward to see this fire up

I’ve figured something out QKiss, you’re like the hot 20 something bartender in a way to short mini skirt. You “bend over” and tease us with a couple of images then you disappear to the other end of the bar. From all of us here on the interwebs STOP IT!!!!
