It is the same camshaft that an Explorer 5.0  engine has.

Ford Motor Company part number = F4TE-6250-BA

A 5.0 HO cam is a nice mini upgrade.

Yes it is ... and works well with O.E.M. valve train parts.

An 85 H.O. camshaft is slightly different than other later year H.O. cams.
85 H.O cam = 266/266 @S.A.E - .278"/.278" lobe lift - 115 separation; 115 intake lobe centerline
86 & later cams = 276/266 @S.A.E. - .278"/.278" lobe lift - 115.5 separation; 116 intake lobe centerline.

Ford Engineering extended the duration on the intake side slightly to help meet NOX emission standards of the day while using a 1/2 point more compression ratio with the masked, heart shaped chambers of the E6SE heads.  For later years, they went back to the earlier type heads but, kept the H.O. cam profile changes.

Well let me ask you guys this. I am rebuilding a 351W for my truck to pull a trailer. I do not care about high RPM all I want is low end torque. It is a speed density system and I am going to have GT40 heads with long tube headers. What would you recommend, I was planning on a stock roller with 1.7 roller rockers for a little more lift.

How much you want for yours whitefield
