Best ET so far
Last Sunday was my best time so far outta the old 472 , I dialed 5.98 and passed the guy too quick and hit the brakes hard and still ran a 5.93 , I've had a 5.82 at 119 mph before with a 1.36 60' so my new goal is to see if 5.70's are possible and i think i would've made it if i ran it flat out. This was on a 200 shot which was 78n 52f jets at 5-1/2 lb fuel pressure and 1000 bottle pressure , timing was 6 out so 24 total , My 60' blew me away for sure its hooking great i think for some homemade ladder bars and stock uppers and lowers , Dodge Omni 4 cylinder springs , air bags and a Team Z ARB i welded in. My whole goal with this combo from the get go was to see if i could run high 8.90's in the 1/4 on spray with a stock stroke , outta the box SCJ heads and intake, solid flat tappet cam and flat top pistons , The 3.90 gears and 28 tall tire wont get me to the 1/4 spraying it which is ok for now because our track went to 1/8 mile so I'm just trying to figure the 1/4 from my 1/8 ET , car is my 84 mustang 2800 lbs , 28x10.5 stiffwall's with tubes , C6 trans footbraking to 2500 , HP 950 carb with 80's-90's jets and front PV , Best all motor has been a 6.12.
