Hey fellas, building new motor this year for kids mud truck. We have acquired a new ultra block, 4.5 stroke callies Magnum crank, Oliver 6.8 bbf Max rods. Really like the TFS a460 heads, been looking at TEA and BES, Fulp and Engine systems, can't decide who to go with. Looking to make 1000/1100 hp, probably shoot it with 250/350 of NOS. For a total of 1400/1500 hp. Looking to spin it around 7500 rpm. Kid wants to go t ram, and fogger. I was thinking single carb, and fogger setup for simplicity. Any suggestions on we're to get heads from and t ram or single from TFS. Truck weight is right at 4000 with driver. Thanks cory

Personally, for that application, I would use the KFM big port CNC heads with matching intake but, there are lots of other ways to get where you want to be.

Are u talking his interceptor heads and intake ? I priced them, think the heads were 8900 ish. The Flo numbers are impressive to say the least!! May be a little out of our budget for heads. Trying to stay in the 5/5500 $ range for heads and intake. I will call KFM and see what they have to say. Thanks, this group is very knowledgeable about bbf. Thanks cory

With a set of out-of-the-box unported A-460 Heads with 2.35 Valves / A-460 Intake (single 4500 Carb),.... you can get 1000hp,....out of a 598" engine,....and only be into them for about $3500. You'll peter out the engine by 6800 rpm,...as it will be starving for air after that point

If 1100hp is your goal,....... it's gonna cost you a LOT,....just to get that extra 100. Not to mention,...you'll have to spin the engine more.

We are looking at the 360 cc heads, with the 2.4 valve, called TEA today. They are emailing me a price on heads and matching intake. They figured around 5200 $ . They said we would be able to meet our goal fairly easily. Our old motor is 557 with the TFS 325 heads. And shoot a 150 shot. Runs good but not good enough. Plus the stock block has me worried. The main caps are starting to fret. Thanks cory

No just the ss valves, we will be adding a small shot of NOS, I thought NOS and ti valves were a bad idea. But if we can run them we will get them that way. PS lem, tried calling u at bf Evans. Haven't heard back. Wanted your thoughts and a price for a head and intake package. Thanks cory
