Glide shifter help
The glide I picked up didn't come with a shift lever. Where do I get one from? The guy I bought this from said the lever came with his Cheetah SCS shifter and he kept the lever for his shifter. I didn't think levers came with shifters do they?

If you buy a new shifter it will come with the arm.

Re: Glide shifter help
Haven't bought one yet, not sure what to get yet . Currently have a Hurst Quarter Stick, reverse shift from the old C4 which I know won't work.
Also maybe a stupid ? but I don't know. Do people have rev VB in a glides? Why? Is there a way for me to confirm it is a forward shift?

Re: Glide shifter help
Yeah........ but it's a one piece and I was hoping to find a lever to bolt on. Looks like that was what it was on my glide. I can understand the one piece deal over a bolt on, which I would suspect a one piece would eliminate the possibility of the lever from falling off, right? BTW how's the Jr coming?

Re: Glide shifter help
got the parts to the eng guy, need to find a piston, cam is here.
Trying to finish the 81 before I get hardcore on the jr, need to get the chassis to the painter.
Snow and ice on the ground with more on the way, makes motivation a little tough lol.

Some shifters come with a whole new arm with lever and some come just with the bolt on lever. Either will work fine. Putting the one piece shaft/lever is pretty simple.
I like the hurst or the b&m bandit shifters. Aerospace Components has a pretty bad a$$ shifter as well.
