ok so here it goes ......

Msd 7531t, crank trigger, 2-stages etc.....

1- at what degree do i want to phase the dist. at if im im at 24* on the first stage ? and 20* on the 2nd ? do you want to just split the difference between the most timing you pull and your baseline ?

2-when i have my stages activated is it going to on the timing light ? what i mean is when im ting the motor and the balancer reads 32* as soon as i flip the switch to the 1st stage it should read 24* ...correct ?

thxs for the input guys

We always phase the distributor to the final timing point, if you're going to be running 20* when both systems are on then phase it at 20*. And yes on the timing, you should see the timing retard when each system activates, it's a little hard to see if they are coming on real close together so we change the timer to allow us time to see it happen.
