Just saw this now... I've run some bigger shots on stock-bottom-end-motors with plate systems and this just set me back
I never took into consideration the balance in a plate setup, as they're usually lower HP setups, but it still matters..

a big shot or and eldebrock plate i believe are about the best out there for the money. i think steve has his own that is close to dead on but it cost a little more

come on now that is a baby shot. you need at least 82's. just kidding. we used a cheap ole cold fusion plate which was the class plate for 3 years with the 82's and never burned anything up after hundreds of passes in the 5.50's in a 3250lbs Fox with a sbf. we used square jetting and like 5 lbs of fuel pressure.

Lol I know 125 isn't much, I just want alittle extra if I'm not quite happy with the output. And I don't think I'm ready for a big hit yet
