You better apply for goverment subsities..... You need it with a solar package if you expect to compete and make money with it.

By the time you get approvals, engineering, land, installation and tie into the grid... You'll end up with 12-15 million in that 3 kw

That's another thing to consider, not much will make it thru the actual 200+ mph of an actual point on tornado, but the hail is someting you could do something about.

Honestly its ashame that solar power isn't a real viable solution to real energy needs. Cost coupled with system limitations just haven't got their yet.
