Re: First time out with the car this year ! UPDATE !
It was the first couple of passes with the nitrous. when it came on it sounded like a second engine joined the first ! I will update all next week when I put the converter in the car that will actaully transfer the power to the rear wheels instead of wasting the RPM's. No more "on the motor" passes for me. Just like a drug, I am hooked for life.

I'd say "old Betsy" can handle it! Very cool numbers!

Thanks guys. The car has been working nicely. The converter isnt super agressive which is probably helping the chassi. I am aming for the 6 second zone @ 200 before the season is over.

Re: First time out with the car this year ! UPDATE !
A door car running 4.60's in the 1/8th is moving right along, damn fine lap. Getting to the 50's might be a simple tweak, or a combination of a few things. Got any close up launch video from a rear/driver side angle so we can see what the car/tires are doing?
some questions........
Is there a small/large/no amount of initial tire rotation before the actual hook?
How hard is the sidewall getting hit/wound-up?
How hard are the wheelie bars hitting the ground?
How tight (from "full tight") is the shock's extension & compression valving set?
How much air pressure?
