New best with BBF and NOS  Empty New best with BBF and NOS

This weekend after being totally disgusted with cars performance over the last couple weeks, i took a friends advice and instead of upping the NOS i jetted down, i put 28nos 20 fuel at 5psi and tried 22 degrees of timing the car instantly went into tire smoke Stock suspension mustang on true 10.5 turned the timing back down to 19 to try to kill power and the car went

5.57 660


still alot more left if i can put the timing back in , I have been going backwards by trying to put too much power in the car. the car is really working now just need to figure out how to get the car to leave with more timing. cheers

MPH was not but 124 thats why i think it will run faster if i put the timing back in it felt kinda dead on the top end

Have to run 20s and faster to compete there, that will be next year when i finish the SBF I am building. Need a single stage fogger i can spray 600 with Laughing Alot of them guys start with 40s in the fogger and go from there. Hopefully by the time its finished i will have the suspension dialed in on this car. i never thought i would 60 1.24 with stock suspesnion no progresssive and no 7531 box. I still need to buy a 7531 box and i want to re run my NOS with two ten pound bottles 6an into 8 to the front for the SBF Steve had some cool looking stuff on yellow bullet i am going to try to pick up over the winter. I would like to have two kits on the SBF even though you can only run one of them in the KOTS series.

I wouldn't think you would need a 600 shot to run only 20's. I race with a guy here that runs 0's with a 400 shot in his single fogger on a sbf. His car and info is on SJ's website.

but congrats on getting your 60ft down. Now if you get it to finish the front half better you would really be flying. Cool

I am hopping to run 520s on a 36 jet then go from there with the SBF but the class rules are no progressive 2950lbs small block or 3250 big block true 10.5 tire and 7531 okay. Also all N20must come on at one time no digi sets allowed in vehicle also new wiring diagram for this year all racers must abide by with no looms and all must be visable able to be traced. so far the fastest cars are in the 5.08-5.12 range. I just want to be compettive. Still got alot to learn on suspension and the 7531 But i got a freind that is running in the top of the class helping me. I think it is amazing these cars are running that fast. I think the faster cars are on 40- 42s pills but they are pulling and ramping timing to get the cars down the track.

Yes anything that the 7531 can do you can use slew rate rev limiter multiple retards just no davis traction control, no digisets, no split foggers, no progressives

Well had some good luck and some bad this weekend run a new personal best. but had some electrical problems and could not repeat it. 5.40s rest of the pases. stock suspension no mini tubs stock mustang springs qa1 double adjustable rear shocks and NO SISSY STICKS.

Yes i was at shaddy side, decided to leave saturday evening and come home still was not fast enoph but i dont think i want to push this stock block anymore its been good to me so i left that evening without breaking anything Cool small block going in for next year if i can get all the parts. my tuneups are really close on this motor and my converter is too loose now for this motor with the bigger hits i am going to call lenny in the morning and see if my other converter is any tighter. the car shifted gears 1.25 seconds into the run and only dropped about 678rpms in the gear change.
