Car left really good when the gas came on. My question is though, with a 9:8:1 Cast iron headed motor. What could be my max timing on the spray be? My shots will start with a 75 shot to maybe a 225 shot later down the road. Could anybody lead me in the right direction? First time I sprayed the car i had a total of 27 degrees of timing on a 100 shot. Checked the plugs and plugs looked perfect

So what were your results/improvement (ET's and mph) from running motor to spray?

I'm no nitrous guru but I retarded my timing 2* per 50 shot when I sprayed. My car/setup liked 32* @ 3000 rpms and when I sprayed it with a 100 shot I set timing at 28*@3000 rpms.

What Plugs?
What is Base timing?
What tune up plate or fogger what jets nos and fuel
What type of cam? duration and lift Lobe Seperation

All motors different Timing can get you in trouble that is why most people wont post timing figures, some motors take alot others come apart with the same timing

I would say 27 degrees on a 100 shot (depending on fuel type) is pretty conservative with a D0VE type head. But like studly said your combo may like more or less. Only the plug can point you in the right direction.
