I'm going to put all pics in this thread for the completion of the truck.
Starts out picking up the truck and getting it home from the chassis shop. There's also a few pics to show it's size in comparison to a new 2011 Mustang. It's the same length and height, but a good bit wider.

That's lookin' cool David. I'm hopin' to get started back on mine here shortly. Makin' a few changes, & have to do a little body work to fix a few things that went awry. Can't wait to see it completed, and on the track. Yours and mine.

I'll post some ugly pics shortly of the problem areas around the door jambs.
Specs are:
1974 Ford F-100
116" wb
26 x 3.5 front tires on draglites for now. As soon as I can, Alumistar 2.0 spindle-mounts.
Rear wheels are draglites for now, Alumistars later.
rear tires, don't know yet. Maybe 16 x 33 or 17 x 34 Mickeys. Going to see what Randy Moore and Dave thinks.
641" alky engine, posted under the proven builds section, hope to make around 1150-1200 hp.
PG trans
9" rear, 4.30 gear
4-link, wishbone, anti-roll bar
strut frontend
Strange 4-piston brakes at all 4 corners
Chassis certified to SFI 25.2 (6.0 in the 1/4 @ up to 3200 lbs)
All chrome-moly
weight will be around 2300-2350 without driver, about 2450-2500 with. F/R bias is around 52 front/48 rear
wheelie bars are 84"
single Stroud parachute w/ air launcher
Strange DA shocks in the rear with CO2-controlled dampening (? I think it's dampening and not extension, Dave??)
Fuel tank in the rear with a cable-driven fuel pump. Cable connects to back of drysump pump.
10 lb Fire bottle
Lift-off doors
Bed sides, tailgate, bedcover, hood, and frontend all dzus on & off in a matter of minutes.

Here a few more pics of the present state of the truck. You will see the mess around the doors and the pieces we fabbed up to repair the door and windshield jams.
Here is the repair piece for the doors. This will used for the small gaps. I have some 1.5" pieces for the wide gaps.

David,
You are a true craftsman. These things are a lot of work when they get that far away from its original 1974 stance. I was told a long time ago the difference that seperates the real craftsmen is how they able to adapt them selves to put anything back together tastefully no matter how far out in left field it starts out. It is looking real good, keep the pictures coming.

I will be ordering the transmission and converter tomorrow, so that is the last high-dollar piece of the drivetrain. The only thing left is paint.

I have a new PTC 2-pc reid-case glide with all the bells and whistles headed this way along with a 10" Promod converter, ATI adapter flexplate and adpater hub. Should smell smoke in a few weeks....
