Engine balance
Does anyone have a balance sheet for weighing components to figure out what bobweight to balance the crank to?
Thanks in advance

I don't understand this ... How is having a "balance sheet" going to weigh components ...?
Re: Engine balance
What someone else's parts weigh dont necessary mean your parts are the same....even if you have the same parts! Lol

Thats not how it works, diff cranks take diff weight metal, depending on rods, pistons, and such.
EXP, You have a piston in one that 110 heaver then another ENG,all else being the same, crank weight must change

Balance
Thanks Frank,
I'm sure that was what Adrian was looking for, not too hard to figure out, LOL.
In my case I would like to be able to order a crank from Adney & have him balance it before shipping, once I figure out what stroke I'm going to use.

He certainly can do that but, ONLY if he has a way to know that actual Bob Weight value.
Re: Engine balance
Yes thanks frank that is what I was looking for. Yes I do have a scale and rod balance fixture to weigh all of my components obviously! I just lost my sheet that I used to have on excel that I could print out weigh everything and write it all down and take the sheet and crank to the machine shop for balancing. Crank grinding and balancing are the only two machine shop things I have to outsource with building engines out of my shop I have everything else actually.
