1978 Mercury Zephyr Chassis Car
Roller no motor or trans
Chassis
2x3 mild steel chassis, adjustable ladder bar with chromemoly ends, 9" 4.56 rear, 33 spline spool, Moser Axles, 32x14 slicks on weld wheels, mustang II front, QA1 coil over kit, 11" disc brake kit, new MT front tires on weld wheels, set up for BBF and Glide
Fuel System
8 gal cell, 8 an braided and 1/2 aluminum tubing, Holley blue pump, Holley regulator, Jeg's filter before pump
Electrical
All New wiring, all weathertight connectors, 2 relays at fuel pump, fan relays, waterpump, transbrake, blade type fusebox, maxi fuses, MSD 6 al, MSD 3 step, MSD RPM switch, shift light, 5" tach, water temp and oil press gauges, wired for delay box, Dedenbear delay box, transbrake, shiftnoid
Body
all steel except trunklid, removeable doors and frontend, Boss 429 style scoop
Misc
Griffin rad, Flexalite fan, BBF chassis headers, all bolts replaced with Grade 9, chromemoly ends
This car runs straight and true and has been in the 9's, very good car, looking to sell as I have found another car that I want and want to buy, pics available
available with a 466, steel heads, glide with jw bell

although I never had the chance to weigh it, I was told 2900#, car is well setup and runs very straight
