1978 Fairmont
I'm selling my 1978 Fairmont. I just don't have the time to finish this car off and I don't want it to sit and rot either.
1978 Fairmont, 29K original miles, ready for a BBF swap. Has an AJE tubular K member, AJE A arms with Strange struts with coil overs up front,87 mustang front spindles, rear is a Strange built 8.8, 33 spline axles and full spool, 4.30 gear and Strange disk brakes. Rear struts are Strange adjustable with 4cyl springs, and adjustable upper control arms and solid lowers. Torque boxes have been re enforced also.
The body is very nice, no rust at all, just one little dinger on the passenger side behind the door.
Front wheels are new Summit drag thrust 15x4 with 26" M/T sportsman tires, rears are Centerline 15x7 4.5bs brand new in box also. Front and rear are 5 lug, all new rotors/calipers.
The interior is nice, but needs to be put back in. At this point you could do subframe connectors or a roll cage and then put the interior back in. The dash was re dyed then put back in, the headliner was redone the put back as well as the rear panel between the back seat/rear window. It has an '86 mustang tilt column in it too, and I have the key. All the glass is good too.
I also have a brand new RCI aluminum fuel cell with sending unit that goes with it, I also have a refurbished MSD 6a too, as well as a c-4 that needs a refresh. I also have a new tranny cross member with solid aluminum bushings too. I have a 4 core foxbody radiator with the taurus 2 speed fan too.
You can get BBF motor mounts for this K member for about $60 and have a bad street car too.
I have another car I'm interested in, so cash is King. All this stuff is brand new on the car, no street miles what so ever, just been rolling around my shop. Asking $4300 for everything, or $4600 with a 302 that I have for it that has MSD pro billet dizzy and new BBK coated shorty headers too.

Re: 1978 Fairmont
Found out over the weekend that the car is not as solid as I was led to believe when I bought it. There is a small spot of rust in the footwell area of the passenger side floor, where the firewall and floor meet. I feel this detracts from the cars value, so I am re pricing it.
$2700 with all the extra sbf stuff I have to go with it, or $2300 just as a roller.
