Hey Lem, what would this be a good cam for? 460, ported c9's, J429 intake?

Jason, this cam is awesome... I know of a few that are running it on the street, both with iron and aluminum heads, and it's a beast... I also think Pat Gorman (patfromjersey) on here is running one in his 521 with FRPP SCJ's and loves it...

That's right Doug, this cam rocks on the street. I also bought mine through Lem, and he's a great guy to deal with and an awesome guy outside the sale. I noticed the cam specs in the catalog, were a little different than what the cam specs on the box said. Here's a pic from the cam box. The lift is the only thing that was different, which in my opinion, was a good thing. If you're looking for the set it and forget it ease of a hydraulic cam, this is it!

Re: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Lem i have a ? for ya i just bought a cam/lifters from the other forum for a build i'm doing for my buddy action jackson the cam was supposed to be a lunati #31605 which is 245-255 dur 615-622 lift ls110 but the cam that came in is a lunati voodoo #61605 which is 241-249 582-600 lift ls110 i'm thinking of getting the frpp cam from you because its closer to what i had in mind. Do you think the frpp cam is gonna be a big improvement over the lunati voodoo i just got ? the motor is going to be a 466-472 with ported doves in a light weight track only mustang.

Re: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Just to be sure....This cam will not work with stock heads (D0VE or D3VE) without cutting the spring pockets and valve guide bosses for PC seals. I thought I had read where max lift on a stock head is somewhere around .540. Is that correct? Thanks.

Re: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I don't know what the max lift with the stock stuff is for sure but I'm sure this cam has more lift than the production stuff will handle .

The FRPP site says....4,750 peak tq./ 6,000 peak Hp .
There is not one answer i.m.o. the size of the engine and cyl. head used will vary results.
