Corrected distributor cap
Was looking at a friends sbc and noticed he had very clean looking wires that were routed where they don't touch as they come off the cap. He told me it was a corrected cap. I want one and try as I might I cant find a corrected cap for a Ford, does anybody make one and where can I buy it?

Re: Corrected distributor cap
"corrected" is a bit of a stretch. That term is a marketing buzzword. Though I've never seen one up close and personal, I can only imagine what they have to do inside the cap to get that to happen and it isn't a pretty image. Cosmetics only I would think.
Edit: looked it up. And yes they have to do what I thought they had to do, crossing the terminals internally. "Corrected" is a misnomer and misleading. Just plain dumb, IMHO.
Probably less reliable and certainly more expensive. Prettier for sure. Is it worth it?
Mallory has a low profile "crab" style DC for Fords. It "corrects" the firing order.

Wow not what I expected but that is why I asked. It was only for looks cause I'm trying to make my engine compartment as clean as possible. Oh well I'll just stick with what I got and make that work. Thanks.
