Did somebody put a curse on us!

What is going on around here with all the torn up race cars and broken parts. I finally made it to a race this weekend and looks like I hurt a roller lifter. In the Dash-for-Cash I was .0008 on the tree and the lifter went away. I heard VallyDawg broke a rear this weekend too.

We need a witch doctor or something to turn all this bad juju around!

This has to stop. Maybe it's just our turn to get some carnage. I heard this stuff happens in three's but it's been more than that!

I haven't even pulled the intake or heads yet to see what the engine may have eaten down the carb when the dragster rolled. There's a few small pieces we couldn't find on the track. Hopefully they are not in the engine!!!

went over all my stuff yesterday and its all good.........dunno what the deal is

Thanks Kerry, I was on the tree pretty good for my time runs, .003 in the left, .016 in the right, then the .0008 back in the left for the dash. Track wasn't very good, went 5.56 first pass, then had a leaker in front of me the 2nd run and got loose down track and lifted.

Man you couldn't wipe the grin off my face if I was running 5.50's. I know it feels good to be on the tree, maybe next time all the stars will align and we'll all be in the winners circle.

Like Dave said I tore up a rear end housing this past weekend. This winter I changed my unit over to Red Line oil and let me tell you it is easy to see a leak now. After my first time out I noticed 2 leaks and both were from the welds. I pulled it out and welded it back up and now it is leaking from both of the 4 link mount brackets. I pulled it out again and took it to a fab shop and they confirmed my thoughts…it is best used as a boat anchor now. It is a dang nice piece too but all the welds are failing. I will be checking out all my options this week.

Dang, that sucks Randy, that kind of stuff is really aggravating!

damn ....good thing you found the problem , that could have gotten ugly .......
